Game Recap

Since we moved to DC, we sort of started to follow the Redskins. Only not all that much since they've basically been terrible since we got here.

However, J had the opportunity to attend his first Redskins game last weekend. He went with our friends and their son (thank you again!) despite the fact that they were cheering for the wrong team. 50 yard line, club level, near Ben's Chili Bowl.

(Side note: the Gator Nation is everywhere! J had multiple Gators stop to talk with him when they saw his Gator hat.)

Prior to the game, the Redskins marching band played "I Will Survive"... because that's about all the team hopes to do these days.

Then the cheerleaders did their dancing/cheering thing. They were so uninteresting that J didn't even bother to take a photo.

For the first part of the game the cheerleaders got to wear pants and boots (with sports bras). For the second part of the game (60 degrees, cloudy, and windy), they were basically wearing underwear with a t-shirt. But hey, they're getting paid like $5 an hour so it's worth it.

So now that one of us has attended a game, I suppose that makes us more dedicated fans... which may or may not be a good thing...
