Last night, Allie started her next obedience class. This is the fourth class she's taken since she was a puppy:
1. Puppy Kindergarten
Allie and her first boyfriend, Hector |
2. Basic Obedience
Yep, that's J on the floor physically holding Allie down so she'll stay put |
3. Advanced Obedience (training for the Canine Good Citizen Test)
Our large class of 14 dogs training for the CGC |
4. Pre-Novice Obedience
Down to a better class size of 8 (Allie is the smallest dog in this class) |
Her new class focuses on off-leash, attention, and distance skills, which all sound like good skills for her to have.
Good for Allie. Pre-novice seems like it should come before advanced, though...
ReplyDeleteThe class names are strange. After Pre-Novice is Novice and after that is Open/Utility. I think they're named based on the AKC competition structure. We might need to re-watch "Best in Show" to understand it all!
