More Snow

Forget coming up with a clever name for today's snowfall.  We're over it.  It looks like steady snowfall throughout the day amounted to just over 2 inches total.

It's a perfect day to eat some popcorn...

... and catch up on the latest Dancing with the Stars episode.

We'll come out of hibernation once the snow is gone.

It makes my day to check the webcam at Allie's daycare and see her playing with a buddy.

Yep, that's her rolling around by the water bowl with a friend.

Allie is the smallest in the "big dog" room at daycare but she hasn't figured that out yet.

Here's what we woke up to at the 'Top O the Morning:'

We certainly didn't think we'd be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a snow day, but here we are.  No complaints from me since it gives me a long weekend to catch up on laundry.

 



However, our poor potted shamrock might have a different take on the situation.  Guess it's just the 'Luck O the Irish.'

Spring Cleaning

I've been doing a little spring cleaning and putting together a box of donations for charity.  I always feel better after sorting through things and donating what we no longer use or need.

I also enjoy coming across things I've saved, especially sentimental items.  Tonight I found the box my engagement ring came in.  And, bonus, J took it from me and reenacted his proposal.  I think Allie appreciated getting to witness the reenactment since she wasn't around for the actual proposal.

In case you were wondering, I said YES (again)!
